Mentioning you, I thought it’d be easier

But it’s harder than it ever was before

Have I completely forgotten about you?

Or is it that I don’t talk about you anymore

Is it all an illusion?

Or is it just a dilemma in my mind

If our love was true and my feelings were real,

How did they fade away with time?

Maybe I was bound to let you go,

When you broke my heart and stole a piece of me

I wanna throw away your stuff

But I still wanna hold onto all my firsts

Unfortunately you stole them away from me,

Even when you’d never be worthy of what I’m worth..

You don’t hold me back anymore

And it’s almost like you never existed

You’re just a faded memory

Like a nightmare, that I always contradicted

I’m more free, more confident, more brave

Than I ever thought I could be..

Maybe it’s letting you go,

Or Maybe it’s just that time taught me again how to love me

The old me disappeared,

And My old ME ricocheted

From these shattered walls of the past,

I finally found who I really am
