Secrets Of The Deep

As boundless as sky

In it, many secrets buried.

The magnificent blue blinds my eyes

Wonder what lurks beneath,

the shadows of the deep.

Is there a treasure under?

Are there abandoned ships?

Do mermaids sing for Lil ones?

ohh how I wonder what’s in there...

Seahorse, starfish, and jellyfish,

swimming carefree with no worries

Dolphins dancing on the waves,

Oysters waiting as moonlight falls

to catch raindrops and make them pearls

Waves splashing on the shore

shimmering golden at the break of dawn

enjoying the sunrise with me

The perfect picture I see

when I think of the deep…
