Secrets Lost In The Sheets
By Navneet Yadav
It has been raining since last night,
How amazing it was that I could see the moon beyond the mist.
The thunder pulled the strings, reminding of our fight,
But the way we made love to each other was that night’s gist.
The way you pushed me away in anger,
It only added to my intense emotions.
The way your eyes controlled the room’s temper,
It cleared the air and ended my desires’ commotions.
You walked towards me as if I was your prey,
With love, lust or hunger it was that I could read.
I could sense we were way past the fray,
And to express what was burning deep in our hearts, that was our need.
You came closer and pushed me again,
Falling on the bed, I pulled you with myself.
You had started to enjoy the initial foreplay,
And started to let loose the desires buried in thyself.
Sitting on top of me,
I remember how you unbuttoned my shirt.
Each one at a time, making me desperate,
While you bit your lips and used your eyes to flirt.
I held your hair and pulled you closer,
It was mesmerising to see you lose your control.
The kiss that followed broke the boundaries,
As you crashed through the walls of my soul.
The eye contact refused to be broken,
My focus was on exploring your exquisite body and mind.
The mind games made the foreplay interesting while you mirrored my moves,
With each smirk exchanged and the lust taking over, we left sanity behind.
I remember the excitement on your face,
When I picked you up and threw you back on the bed.
Pouncing on you as if you were my meal,
The intense kiss broke my calmness that hung by a thread.
I took my shirt off,
As you got out of your beautiful dress.
We stood in your birth suits with nothing but sheets to cover us,
With intentions of making love with wild finesse.
The scratches you gave me and how our fingers entangled,
They remind me how we clung to each other.
The violent details of the non-violent love is still lost in the sheets that covered us,
For few things have to be imagined, and not written any further.
