Seasons Of Life

By Aashna Shah

The seasons of nature, tend to capture the essence of our being

Where we have the beauty of fresh start depicted by spring

The world gets covered in colours we can see new life begin

It's as if the earth is giving us a treat and washing away every sin

Soon it is followed by summer spreading its warmth and light

Where everything seems happy and beautiful in sight

Winter while it's last coming with a charm of its own

It brings forth beautiful spectacle of white, with festivities that no one is alone

What is least celebrated is the season of fall where trees shed each leaf

Where the world soon looks like it too is engulfed in grief

But we forget the enchantment of the view as we see the colours change

It's a magnificent sight that truly shows us nature's range

While endings and new beginnings is the circle that's warranted

Yet the endings leave us truly haunted

But we forget to see that there is beauty in the endings need to be seen

If not for endings leaves would never be red, orange or yellow, they'd only be green
