Seasons' Change
By Yash Raj Shukla
How she turns like a springing breeze,
Melting egoistic walls of winter;
Whose pride she hurt by stepping across,
Them that bound her winds to cease.
Why they turned those flowers to dunes,
Fragrance which once fueled their life;
Whose broken pieces now left to dust,
She blew across and rained them clean.
How the fall had seen her shed,
Tears at night for so prolonged;
Days hid those with a few drying leaves,
Marks on ground and yet so deep.
Cold she runs and so you freeze,
Winter once that you had been;
Now all seasons that she has seen,
Cost to flow then 'Cold' it is.
