Saviour Winter

Down the surreal path I go

In search of you my dad,

It’s fine to get hurt several times

For I can’t bear being sad.

In front of my eyes, your picture lies

I get thoughts of only you

Whole world’s vice, other thoughts like ice

I dice with death for you.

Stomping thorns, under my feet

I continue to run and search

I mourn out of hellacious pain,

Bleeding from my wounds of birch.

I throw up, rejecting to search for you

But your suave visage appears in my heart

It makes me run and run more miles,

Until I find you, I won’t let this thought part

Soaked in rain I run away,

Away from the world, very far away

I’ve found you when rains melted my heart’s snow,

For getting you back, to the winter rains I owe.
