is it true, sapphire?

is it true what they told me?

did you really go to such lengths without me having the faintest idea of what you were concocting

and all behind my back?

this is no less than bringing a knife to my heart, sapphire.

i trusted you, sapphire.

trusted you so much that i let you in

you and only you

it is not like me to trust

and trust this blindly so

but i did, sapphire.

you are my gleam of light at the end of the tunnel

you were, you WERE my light

now there is an eclipse of the sun

i cannot open my eyes to it

as it hurts me so

gut-wrenching hurt

and all because of you, sapphire.

who am i fooling

i still love you, sapphire

i will until i leave this earth.
