Rosa in Fade

Now the rose garden sighs on eve,

Under the dark blue skies that softly grieve.

“Remember me forever, not in bloom, but grace,”

Zephyr’s soft breath drifts through this place.

And every sharp prickle that guards her stem,

Holds a sorrowful prayer, for the garden’s gem.

In her calm and blissful sleep, the heavens weep,

Red shall fade, but my love runs deep.

A soul so pure, the winds take flight,

Home, she went, returned to light.
