Romantic Traffic Jam

What is love and how does it feel?

Love is like being stuck in traffic.

A rollercoaster of emotions.

When you are stuck in traffic,

You feel anxiety, annoyance, anger and loss of patience.

You try to convince yourself that you’ll be out after a few cars,

Then suddenly there are a few more cars, more chances of love.

You lose your mind with all the different cars honking loudly.

That’s the noise of the unnecessary arguments and conflicts.

You see a chance to overtake, but you also see an accident.

That’s when you want to cut ties but think of the regrets.

When you are stuck in traffic,

You sometimes enjoy the delay and listen to music while in traffic.

You feel so much boredom and so much relaxation all at once,

Then suddenly, you switch off the car, you switch off begging for love.

You get lost in the thoughts of what comes after the traffic.

That’s when you put your heart first and think of your future.

You just want a car nap, but the unwanted few cars keep overtaking.

That’s you being at peace and avoiding arguments.
