Rise & Fall

Awake in the rising radiance,

in anticipation of abundance

as the sun alighted the dawn,

so did the mind, over long bygones

reminiscing all that it has ever undergone,

by bequeathing fear for having lost it all,

counting on courage, as it was but all,

founded by failures were the strongest walls,

where in lie the ashes of dreams,

which once a soaring eagle, over a looming Skyfall,

landed on the ground, like the burning phoenix mighty and tall.

In Quest for light , wandered the fragile mind in darkness

undermining the power of self it can harness,

neither died the hope , nor did the search end,

despite the downfall , the hardened earth of mind,

willed like iron, never to break or bend.

In love with the stubborn, universe unconditionally guides the strong,

with infinite endurance , on the path all along

Indomitable spirit , which will forever belong,

Unanimously, the undeterred are eternally pursued upon

to illuminate alleys bleak and unknown

For the stars in the darkest skies shine bright & long,

and the dusk always brings a new dawn.
