Your life was about you.

Thought people had nothing else to do.

To fame, you were blinded.

You were so single-minded.

Although, I was always here,

helping you to steer,

with every passing day,

you were pushing me away.

I took the hint.

I'm not a masochist.

I'm worth my time.

I took back what's mine.

You thought the ladder was strong

so you carried on.

But every time it swayed

you wasted cash and prayed.

You didn't fix it yourself

you didn't care about anyone else.

When you finally looked down

you saw no one waiting around.

I saw you one day.

You'd thrown it all away.

I felt guilt eat at me.

So I said, ‘Hello, Bree’.
