Replanted

I'm often surprised to meet myself in emotions

which I thought were foreign to my character.

I wear the costume of the villain in other people's stories,

catch myself smiling at their problems

and frowning at successes.

However, I remain hopeful,

because an overcast sky does not mean the sun hasn't risen.

I remember that the weaknesses of the paper

once carried the strength of the tree.

Therefore, I will replant myself

in the root of love,

which will not be unearthed by darkness.

In the end, I want the young to sit up

when they hear about my character.

I want the earth to feel like a mother

who has lost her beloved child

when I’m gone.
