Remnants Of Dead Butterflies
Remnants of dead butterflies
Lay in pieces, wings scattered and souls cremated
Sky smiling brighter yet crueler; did the full moon see this and shed more rays of silver?
Seashells hiding under soft white sands; did the spring tides kiss them and they got shy?
Strangest hum of a loudest stillness
Wave after wave crashing into the reefs
Every wave carrying a different rhyme;
One rhymed into somber, and another into peace, hope, then the last one left unrecognized.
Somehow, the moon shone bright
And a breeze carried what the sea whispered;
“Oh! you wouldn’t dare meet me in the depths of Pacific Ocean”
