REMINISCE.

Dont help me up I dont want to miss, with just one kiss Ive been falling since,

Just now she smiled so sweet my pretty miss, your touch your words they reminisce,

We make so much love I’m in disbelief, the moments simmer as she whispers “this is bliss,”

Sometimes in love you do everything right and you hit or miss, however beyond every hit and every miss I want to remember this.

Dont wake me up! Its almost my favourite part, in truth the whole period resonates so you and I never end we just start,

So much so you and I never shimmer we just spark, like a light that knows no flicker or fear of the dark,

Its such sweet sorrow to think about our past, how ironical it is that the moments last in my memories’ past ,

If I trace my steps I find you standing in the ark, I feel you coursing my spine even though you dont have my back.

The common folk found themselves a view, the dying man’s words from his hanging pew,

He said’ “beyond my current I know I serve a deeper view, thats why I want to remember this,”

They watched his light fade another soul lost to the hue, they said it was the only way to pay his due,

The council hoped his memory would fade like morning due, you see it pains less when they avoid all the pain they grew.

Still the moment comes when the rain longs for the river bed, do you remember how many times we broke the river bed?

I think about how far we’d come we were river bred, how lonely it was without you in any other bed,

This love was enriching we made the river bend, even beyond you and I have no desire for any other bed,

This and more are moments I reminisce of our time in the river bed, the pace isnt as before but we will never reach the rivers’ end.
