Relishing The Good ol' Times, Missing You

The rustling of dry leaves beneath my shoes,

Cool breeze on the silent waters

This place, home to our memories

I come back here every once in a while

With a gleam of hope in my eyes

I’d meet you here again, someday.

This place, where ‘we’ began,

With an awkward hello

To holding each other’s hand

To being each other’s back

The same place, we had an untimely part

I see myself clutching onto those pieces of memories

So close to heart fearing if they fly away

Am I the only one reminiscing our past?

As a matter of fact, I know you do too…
