Rejection
By Shreya Chaudhary
I was there on that platform
Submitting my desires and my dream
A year and a half ago dream
A childhood mesmerizing desire
I was there with a sobbing eyes
Waiting for the magic and magician
Wondering with shattered eyes
Shattered eyes see destroyed dreams
Hears an evil laugh
See a crooked teeth and a bending back
A truth I know yet so far to come
A piece of me want to raise again
A part of me awaiting for that moment
Rejoicing crying a happy bee sobering
I knew I was there a mind of mine rejected it
Should I be worrying for my worth
Should I be carrying a baggage of loads
Am I rejoicing now
Should I be the one with right to reject
A piece of me denies many
A part of me accepts me
Those there rejoicing for their luck
Nothing but a sheer luck
Those there asking my luck my fate
With many eyes gazing on me
I have nothing but tears
Watery eyes choked nose
Waiting for next to shatter me
Accepting the challenge for shattering me.
