Reflections of Who We Used To be!

Falling down once again

As you loosen your grip;

Pretending to be in pain

But glad enough to slip!

Searching back in time,

I try to gather our memories.

My reveries are still sublime-

You are a forest of hollow trees!

Scattered memories are fading faster

But I choose to feel this new breeze

As I let go of my plan of piecing together

Disjointed fragments of memories!

Love lost and changed your mind

As you pushed it to redundancy.

I try to look back but I only find

Reflections of who we used to be!
