She reminds herself, time and again,

her memory is a curse she has to bear.

Perhaps, she could learn to delete them. But it's not so easy, is it?

When the ghost of a scent wafts over her at random, catching her unaware. And she is left dizzy with nostalgia, her resolve to move on weakening with the déjà-vu that her curse brings upon herself.

Olfactory memories are strongest they say. She provides proof in her suffering.
