Red Flower

Grew a garden out of the memories we share

But it’s now time for the red flower to take over

Cause you put an icy bullet through my body

Don’t you dare say you’re sorry

You dumped my heart in the coldest of snow

Now to save myself I have to let the fire grow

Let the crimson red reflect in my eyes for you to see

Try to douse it but tis an immortal seed

From which I will now rise like a phoenix

All this time I looked at like through a dreary, dark winter lens

But now all I see is red

Your poison tasted like the sweetest honey

But that venom did the work of gasoline

Gave life to my red flower

Bit by bit the flames grew higher

Nothing can put out this fire

Not satisfied yet, I want more

Won’t stop till it’s a blazing inferno

Can only smile till I’ve burnt down this town
