The tales have been told,In the folklore,

Of the immortal loophole,

The system deemed perfect,

Had its flaws,

Invisible to all.

18th July, 11:00 pm

From the welkin came the thunder,

Illuminating the dark fall,Gale cutting through,

Anonymous to all.

Running in the shadows was found a boy,

Drenched and soaked,

Guns following behind,

Escaping the narrow fate was his priority,

He hid in the desolate dwelling,

Praying someone to save him.

The girl in her twenties was waiting for him to return,

Dark hair, grey eyes,

Gazing at the rain,

Clenching her heart,

As the ominous feeling wouldn’t leave her apart.

Deafening sound of the barrel unfold,

And there lay the boy with one last call.

She rushed to the place,

She had been told,

For she received a call,

That he couldn’t breathe anymore.

Reaching the ruins,

She entered them,

Just for the obnoxious seen to unfurl,

The boy lay dead,

In the basin of blood,

Sickening to the core was the sight ahead,

Brutally murdered was the innocent.

Her knees gave in to the floor,

For whom she loved,

She couldn’t save anymore,

Still warm was the flesh of the boy,

Taking in her hands was a pain indeed,

Deafening was her scream,

Shaking dead, alive and dream.

She wailed and implored,

For the ancient lore to be true,

Gap in perfection opened to her,

As everything shifted colours,

Red to green

Green to blue

Blue to violet

Violet to black

So much pressure that it chocked her lungs,

Falling through a void,

And landing on water,

Hot as the blazing sun,

Cold as the winter’s moon,

Little did she know,

She dubbed the doom.

The dark disappeared,

Welcoming the dawn,

Waking up to the cruel world,

She saw the wall,

For it was ‘18th July 5:13 am’

And so it happened,

Canvas of time was again erased,

Due to the immortal loophole.
