Rain

Clouds changing pace,

Slow down, turning grey;

Thunder hits, lightning strikes!

Parched earth yearns for her mate.

Gentle light traces her,

Alive to the trill of the birds,

She sways and sings with the wind,

Melody so divine!

Drops of pearls-

On verdant skin.

The notes play faintly,

As the world comes to a still-

Time calls her,

To her destiny.
