Rain or the Rainbow, which came first?

One fills the view, one slakes thirst...

Rain or the Rainbow, which goes last?

One falls slow, one stands fast...

Rain or the Rainbow, which need we?

One falls on us, one we see...

Rain or the Rainbow, which love we?

One filled of colour, one wet and free...

Rain from the Gods, brings down the sky,

The sky coming down, frees rainbow shy...

Rain falls to earth, seeps through the sand,

And then in twilight, rainbow make his stand...

Rain fills our throats, rain cleans us through,

Rainbow brings calm, souls fresh and new...

Rain we need, rainbow not so much...

But both bring love, one in sight, one touch...
