Quiet Your Mind

They ask us to keep ourselves busy,

cause an empty mind is a devil's workshop

But

my mind is quiet,

Loads of workload, loads of stress and busy days; is Mumbai’s way of life

But amidst the rushing silence spread by a virus, the chaos wobbled,

and the unaffected crowd is at a bliss?

It's untrue, it's partial, biased,

truth is: everyone's affected

everyone's justified

In different ways of course,

maybe former being more vivid

but the struggle doesn't say it all

Can you possibly spy into anybody's mind?

if you could

would you save loads of brains?

Brains which are coping with depression,

or hearts which are slowly dying?

How could you possibly judge somebody's routine life?

They maybe super successful,

but at the end,

life is nothing but a game full of trials

I do envision myself in the court of universe, every moment,

never surrendering,

always confused with overwhelmed emotions

I stay up most of my nights,

the lights in my dreams

pulling the darkness nearer to my heart

And what is it, that's really pushing our loved ones apart?

what's the formula to life?

visions, dreams, aspirations, are these enough?

Is there any recipe to happiness part by part?

If it were available,

would you be a follower or find your own path?

There may be some ultimate goals,

But do you know what's your last task?

wouldn't you rather pause and breathe a little, cause maybe someday

your loved one maybe taken apart

Hence, maybe learn from e-commerce

add the most important--prioritizing moments that you wish to live to your cart,

modify them using the availability filter,

and checkout

Everything comes at a cost

But wouldn't you rather spend at a place that has long term returns, from the start?

Quiet your mind and know your potential,

Times are difficult but you're tough,

And hence it is said,

Be just ordinary, you'll realize you were the

only extraordinary

when everything fallen will be replaced by the new, the better
