Purple Sky

By Nikita Motwani

As the day draws to a close

And the purple sky begins to impose,

With someone special on my side

Today is a lucky day, I suppose,

Though the colours may fade away

The bond between us will always stay,

A sight that’s so pure and true

Your face seems like a moon, which is more than blue,

The sky which is the garden of stars

That prevents me from seeing the moon scars,

Not just the dark but the starry skies

And every happiness that multiplies,

To every person feeling low

That purple sky, where the star shines and moon glow.
