Prison

Dreams are gone,

Delusions have dwindled.

Alone in cold prison,

I lay on my hard prison bedstead.

Wondering, pondering,

What I should do?

To free myself from this inferno;

Has God left me to die?

In this foul prison cell.

Or is Almighty testing me,

How resilient I am?

Matters not what it may be;

I will go through this misery of mine,

With stoic flame in my heart.
