Pride Print
By Chinmaya Chawhan
In a world of fading ink prints,
I want to be your permanent embroidery;
Everyday filled with little love sprints,
Wherein with each lap you run you win a new part of me.
Reach me, let's in talks be mellow;
A tension between us, we are magnetic.
To sort out quarrels we don't need a third fellow,
Different from others, our love is galactic.
Let's redefine love,
Live God's prophecy;
And in our hearts shove
A naive teenage rush of intimacy.
A sequence of soft kisses,
Pink and purple skies every day we see;
A rainbow vibe unleashes,
Heart clouds afloat above every blooming tree.
With you around, luck I claim,
You are my five leaved clover;
Announcing loudly who I am,
Darling, your true lover.
