Pride

It's pride.

There's colour everywhere

Even inside me

But the people I hold dear

They see me in a different light

All in black and white

And I can spray the whole house with love and light of "Aware."

Making it a little more "gayer"

And yet

I still haven't started to believe that they'll count me in their prayer

I know it's a bad rhyme

But this is what's on my mind.

Maybe next June will be bright

Like the last was grey

And tomorrow

Will be the same sun but a new day.

Here's to better pride and love for all.
