Praying Mantis

As my day ceased at midnight blues,

Holding tight, my sapphire stone

I walked down my lane,

Following the carpet moss.

And as I strive to fathom my every stride,

I walk into a cacophonic musical,

A jarring symphony!

With the orchestration of cicadas in synchrony.

Standing there, ravening my merrier mayhem,

I was respired by a jolt,

A Vision through the bulgy eyes,

Of the praying mantis, clairvoyant and wise.
