Possession

I travel lower into the pit to unearth you.

You dwell deep within, past bone and flesh.

You are weighted - pregnant of heaviness and charge. Melancholy?

I must sit - stone silent.

Your darkness awakens, to take over limbs.

Are you of me, mine? Of this body?

Or of the others? The Ancestors.

I now - Allow.

You spill over.

Every aspect of my vibrancy,

Now darker in your hue.

Yet I allow you this stage.

Enact your truth.
