Point Of View Of A Soldier

It is high time for us to understand the true reason,

The reason behind those lives laid away,

The reason why an innocent man faces a machine gun,

The reason why he chose it this way.

The freedom that masses enjoy, the flag that is swayed high,

The ground you walk upon beneath which thousands of lives lay,

The freedom with which you protest, the peace at night while you rest,

Remember citizens, this has been paid with bloody wars as their irreversible cost.

To the intellectuals who try and politicize a battle,

It is a dare, just go and stand in front of an enemy tank in full throttle,

You never hesitate to make petty comments on the aftermath and the purpose,

While a mother lament seeing his son’s unwashed clothes.

This is a message to each and everyone ,

A soldier never loves war, he is peace-loving much like you,

Gather the courage to fight within the boundaries being united as one ,

Only then a soldier will actually RIP , having seen the duty fulfilled that he bestowed upon you.
