Poetry Is A Warplane

What is poetry?

A lover's shame.

An ocean

described by seamen.

The waves calm you down

bone-deep.

Poetry

is like fine wine,

bottled up and ageing

in hearts

where men could never build a house. It is,

a kaleidoscope

of broken bits and pieces

yet something beautiful.

Poetry

is a choice.

A warplane.

It can either kill them

or save you,

verse by verse.
