Poem On Remembrance Of Ccildhood & Trobles Of Teenage

Yes I remember your smile,

But do you remember mine?

All the emotions we felt,

why did they melt?

how I played day and night

and didn’t bother with the grade.

Every second used to feel like heaven.

Cause guilt, hatred and jealousy were not in existence!

Pillows made home and toys were my world.

Now everything bores me, How did I become so broke!

Yes I was scared of the monster under my bed,

but what should I say of the monster inside me.

Yes I was 8 when it happened,

but would I have been so terrified every second

if you had saved me.

The jokes of adults didn’t make any sense.

But the smile was real,

Laughter always echoed around,

And every fight seemed fair.

No, I didn’t pretend, neither hid behind the mask,

Satisfied my soul was, had nothing to ask.

Didn’t wished for priceless possession,

I just needed you.

Now drowning in depression

Wished you could find time for me too.

Now I am begging the therapist for a pill.

Before it's too late to kill

the pain inside inside my head as I stay up all night,

Over-thinking for hours about what is not right?

Maybe the innocence is still around,

like the moisture in the air after the rain.

But can’t feel it as we are hidden indoors

and the distance between us hasn’t been the same.

The puddle of emotions has all turned into depression,

wish I knew what happened to my enthusiasm.

Hope the glory comes back

returning the joy that I lack

After the innocent days of childhood

vanished far away

and nothing remained the same||

TROUBLES OF TEENAGE

Nothing is clear around me

everyone suffers from depression and anxiety

don’t you dare say

This age is fun.

Cause all I feel is dumb.

One step up,

two step break down.

Billie, Weekend helped me

pass the crucial time.

Peer pressure is all we see

struggling to keep up with the trigonometry.

Not a single thing goes inside my head,

dying to have a good grade.

4 cup of coffee, 4 hours of sleep,

Hunger to be best is don’t know how deep!

Parents & teachers must stay satisfied.

Who cares how much we break inside.

They say enjoy without a worry,

then they only push us to hurry.

Act like a perfect adult

but don’t be better than us.

Giving my all I can,

so that I don’t feel I lack.

Still everyone sees your flaw

if success, they say its luck!

Yes I know it will end,

Still too much is there to cope.

dream of being independent

may someone gives us a ray of hope.
