Platonic love

While the lights dazzled across the room

She felt a shadow moving along with the groom

Suddenly her eyes relieved back all the memories

And her heart started to pound heavily

She looked for him every step and corner

Hoping that the fate would bring them closer

Clinging onto her high spirits

Brought out a smile to her pretty red lips

As the groom gave away the ring

She stared at her fingers and shrinked

It felt like a hollow place around

And she quickly hastened out

To get away from the crowd

Her eyes started to drench with tears

As she came to senses that he was no where nearer

Wondering if he was looking up from above

She felt all alone in this platonic love!
