PEACE ATTAINED

Today,

tranquillity arrived unannounced,

in whispered thoughts so softly pronounced.

The heavens shimmered in aureate light,

while dawn unfolded serene and bright.

Even the wind seemed graceful and slow,

Carrying secrets only softened hearts know.

Melodies lingered with delicate grace,

like tender reflections time could never erase.

For once, my spirit did not stray,

searching for solace worlds away.

Instead,

contentment bloomed within, quietly radiant beneath my skin.

Perhaps joy was never truly gone,

perhaps my soul was merely withdrawn.

But today,

the world feels tender and free and in this luminous moment,

I delight in simply being me
