Peace

The more I searched it outside

The more it was tossed by the tide

Of the sea of dissatisfaction

And an ever present mood of vexation.

I spent a lot of money

To have a taste of the long cherished honey.

I visited many a tourist spot

To places cold and hot.

All my efforts were of no avail,

Whether I visited a hill or a dale.

At last, I searched it within me

In my eternal bond with He.

I was engulfed in the sea of peace

My bond with the divine brings the true bliss.
