Past The Action
By Harshita Y S
The passing of time is a flow of river;
Nature’s law it follows, a free firefly.
But the human acts of greed and cred,
To restrict the flow of river, a futile motion
Only to realize the waves of tremors;
When it’s past his reach, he’s desperate
To clutch at the claws of aggressive Nature
With a resignation in essence of action
For human is too smart for his own good.
The endless curiosity of adventure,
The bottomless hunger for authority,
And a foreseen remorse of late realization;
Only to be washed of, by the ocean waves of reasoning
Holding the passage of time is but an illusion.
