Paper Thin

Paper thin: blowing all over town.

Just let me in,

You know I never play around.

I don’t ever play around.

Floating through the air,

Don’t really know where I am going.

Far from despair,

Don’t really care where I am blowing.

Spotted that flicker from afar:

Shrouded in the darkness,

Glowing like a spark.

The flicker was fueling me inside.

And I was

Paper thin.

Flying through the clouds.

Wind in my face,

Wind in my hair.

How could I ever get down from there?

How do I never not feel this free?

Once woken from the land of dreams,

I never feel quite as free.

How do I go to being weightless?

Where is the vast infinity,

That was just within reach,

Waiting for me?

The little flicker is dead.

I wish I were

Paper thin.

Flying through the clouds.
