Painted In Pain

A teardrop escaped from her eyes

And hide beneath her nose

She tries to hide the pain

But you can follow the track

From her eyes to her chin

She has a hidden treasure

Of pain and agony

Deep inside her skin

She has roadmaps of

The journey she had

Travelled alone

That has been carved on her bones

She has bandaged herself

With the smile, she wears every day.

But when she opens her wounds for

dressing at night,

It still looks fresh.

She cries out in pain,

Clench her hands tight

Trying to hold on

For a little while more

You can see the marks on her

Nails on her body,

As if she wants to pull out

The pain under which

She is living her every breath.

Every night

The moonlight irritates her

Skin,

As it reminds her

of his sweet kisses

and broken promises.
