Pain Ringing Your Doorbell

Some days you wake up,

Feeling like what the hell is up,

Hating, every little thing,

In front of you stings.

You feel pain coming,

Your doorbell ringing,

Knowing you are inside,

Keep away your pride.

You let it in with a face,

Act indifferent, just in case.

It is still sitting there,

You should beware.

Confused eyes, deterring it,

You are obliged to acknowledge it.

You know it is here to tell,

You know it really well.

You try to dodge the fusion,

Get yourself into delusion.

Watch that video, eat that cake,

Sleep till noon, putting things at stake.

You come back, it is sitting there,

staring at your face in despair.

Just say, “hi, I know dear”,

You know why it is here.

To remind you what you need,

In order to probably succeed.

Take care of the guest,

You finally now, accept.
