Oh the pain, oh the pain;

The pain of being misunderstood;

The pain of being understood yet used;

Where can I find the bliss of solitude?

No care for words similar to spikes and swords;

Love turns to hate when the self peaks ahead;

We are all selfish, many have it well hid.

The close ones are those that hurt the most;

Let go they say, don’t mind they say;

But how can I let go or don’t mind;

Who are parts of my soul, the red of my blood?

Air in my breath and synapses in my brain?

Yet i have seen them in best and sane

But what makes them lose their head?

Expectations and Hope drive the need;

To be understood, appreciated and heard;

As it is for me, it is for them and everyone else;

You care for frilly words but hate what it does;

To your soul, craving for more leading to woes;

You hate brutal words but it opens doors;

To your mind, paving the way for insight galores.

But when you are alone, you yearn for pain;

Here me out, because at least you feel vain;

In the hope that you are needed and for prayed;

Life’s challenges and pitfalls make you sane;

Here me out, because those with none but only gain;

Are being tormented, threatened and drowned in scare;

Of what might happen, if life takes a turn in a dare.
