Owning Me

I am owning me

The part which is too kind and too helpful

The part which is always happy

And the part which is honest

The part which is calm

And the part which is beneath a frozen lake of my tears.

I am owning all of me

The part which was a bully

And the part which was sarcastic

The part which yearned to hurt everything around her

And the part which was angry

The part who builds up walls of scream and disrespect for people who don't deserve it

I am owning all of me

The mirror maze of anxiety

And the forests of my insecurity

I'm tangled

But I own all of it today.

I own the letters burnt

And pictures deleted

Bottles broken and

Poetries destroyed.

I own me.

In my light and in my dark.

Cause Only I know me. Myself.

My present and My past.
