Overthinking

Slipping through the cracks of reality, gripping onto fragments of space and time.

I land in a sea of thoughts.

Thoughts that have consumed me.

Thoughts that came like a thief in the night, robbing me of my sanity.

Scenarios playing in my head, forced to watch.

I become a victim of my own mind.

A prisoner.

Trapped.

I swim and swim.

And yet, I drown.

I wish it weren’t so.
