An invisible thread binds us all
In this tapestry of life
Casting an enchanting spell
As we stand in God's thrall
An emotional thread binds us all
In this family cocoon
Moulding our spiritual ways
As we live, grow and enthral
An enchanting thread binds us all
In this forest of kith and kin
Weaving its magic upon us
As precious memories we recall
A fragile thread binds us all
In this home we call our abode
Trembling, flimsy, about to snap
As we bicker and sometimes fall
A strong thread binds us all
In this fortress of our own
Supporting all our loved ones
As we stand sturdy and tall
A golden thread binds us all
In this cradle of our tribe
Revealing so much love
As we reach out to one and all
These different threads bind us all
In this shawl woven by God
Hauling us all back together
Lest we stumble and fall
