காவியம் கடந்த உணர்வு

வலியினை தராத எதிர்பார்ப்பு

வாழ்நாள் முழுதும் பூரிப்பு

பிரபலங்களின் மேலும் வரலாம்

ஏன் பிறர்

பாலத்தின் மேலும் வரலாம்

எதிர் வீட்டு பெண் மேலும் வரலாம்

எதிரி நாட்டு பண் மேலும் வரலாம்

தேவை என்று தெரிந்தும்

தேடாமல் இருப்பதிலும் இன்பம்

தொலைவிலேயே என்றும் தொடர்வோம்

சிந்தையால் மட்டுமே தொடுவோம்

கூடி பேசினால் கூடவோ குறையவோ

செய்யலாம் விருப்பம்

ஏனோ கொஞ்சமும் மாறாத நேசம்

மட்டுமே போதும்

புரிந்து கொள்ள துணிந்து பிரிய நேர்ந்து

இருத்தலை கொல்லி எறும்பாய்

துடிப்பது சுமையானதே

புரியாத புதிராய் என்றும் நேசம் குறையாத
