One Last Night

You made me write a book,

the moment you gave me that look,

I could write about you all year,

but all I want for you is to come near,

please don't try to run and hide,

I just want you to be my bride.

I want you beside me in that white gown,

don't worry i'm never going to let you down,

I have always been your man,

did not matter how far you ran,

I have always come for thee,

even if I had a broken knee.

For now this is all I can write,

I cannot tell if you feel alright,

I wait for your response one last night,

and I will leave if you tell that I am not right.
