One In A Hundred Things To Say.
By Chandana Chowdary
If one in a hundred things to say,
Then let’s not speak about a fairy tale.
Or polish over the rough,
Just to pretend “oh man! He is tough”.
If one in a hundred things to say,
Then let’s stop thinking about
Rubbing a happy face over a true face
And faking the glossy phase for a filthy race.
Just for the attention of few.
Or, to differentiate from a crew.
If one in a hundred things to be really spoken.
Then let’s speak about the reality that sucks
And the nerve that picks.
The hardest verse to be disclosed,
And about the greatest battle to be upheld.
The evident turbulence.
And merits of clutter clearance and persistence.
The remains of broken you
And about the perceptions of societal flu.
Let’s speak about unmasked you and a truthful me
For the lives of reality, forbidden to live free
