One Fine Day

One fine day, you will be at somewhere

You never thought you can ever reach

One fine day, all your “I wish I could”

Will become “Oh Yes I did”.

One fine day, time will change, things will change

So do the people around you

You will be celebrated for becoming a flower

Not anymore being blamed for being a seed.

One fine day, you will shine as bright as the Sun

That the stars can never compete with

And you will make yourself proud

Coming out of this large crowd.

One fine day, there will be joyful faces all around

Living for and living with one another

Human beings will again

Be epitome of Humanity.

One fine day, nobody will ever be judged

Based on their outer appearance

But by the inner beauty of

Love, Compassion and Humility.

One fine day, the things which matter so much today

Will be of no value

And the things which you don’t care today

Will be of utmost importance.

Food is better than Gold

Love is better than Money

Smile is costlier than diamond

Care is the asset you carry.

One fine day, this arrogant body will disappear

So do all the materialistic pleasures

All identities, possessions, relations will be gone

Except what you have done

To make the earth a better place

Than the day you were born.
