One ball, a milliOn dreams

The proud crowd cheers,

While the opposing team sneers

They sprint and score a goal

They know they own the match whole.

The injured leave with stitches,

Accidents kick off in daring pitches

The referee’s whistle calls out a foul The fans boo with a disappointed scowl.

Morocco, Norway, there’s more to choose, England, Brazil. Argentina too

Switzerland and Belgium are on the line Spain and France are here to shine.

The final whistle echoes,

Applause is heard for their heroes Lined-up trophies twinkle from afar Waiting to be picked by today’s star!
