Once Upon a Clock

Hour stood still, grand and resolute,

Minute whispered, weaving fleeting threads,

Seconds danced, restless on fleeting feet,

Three friends lived, bound by their rhythm.

Hour remembered ages, shadows long past,

Minute hummed tunes, soft and fleeting,

Seconds gasped, swift breaths of life,

Together they moved, unbreaking their bond.

Hour spoke slow, its voice deep thunder,

Minute replied, spiraling in careful steps,

Seconds laughed, a melody quicksilver bright,

Each knew their role, harmony to keep.

Time spun onward, their ceaseless orbit,

Silent language told in constant circles,

These friends, keepers of ephemeral moments,

Bound eternal, within the clock's heart.
