Shadows danced, shapeless

Dark and light, patterns made

Silenced night, a sole witness

Come, my love, let’s speak in riddles

Roses I brought, darkest of all,

Bloomed in winter, under a red moon

Come, meet me there, where we met

Or, meet me there, where you left

Bring the chalice, old and silver

Pour me, dear, your poisoned love

Dark and red, ever so tempting,

Let me drink it, once again
